2019 Wrap Up

As we enter into 2020 I’m looking back at where I was 12 months ago and appreciating how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown both as an artist and a business owner. This year was my first year of working for myself full time, and as you can imagine that encompassed a lot of low moments, mistakes and misteps. But along with all that hard work and heartache also came successes, creative fullfillment and the sense of freedom and independence that comes from working for youself.

When I first started this business I had a simple vision of taking portraits for couples and families in Byron Bay. But over the last 12 months I’ve learn to loosen my grip on that vision and explore the new opportunities and directions which have lay down in front of me. Because of this I’ve found myself doing things that I had never envisioned. I’ve shoot editorial for magazines and events, launched a new commerical side of the busiess rachel kimberley and taken on teaching and mentoring roles (to name a few)

I’m very greatful for the life I am living now and want to give a big heartfelt thanks to everyone that I has supported, followed, encouraged or appreciated my art over the last 12 months. Your support has helped me to find my feet as a business owner, artist and fragile little human this year!

So, I’ll leave you with a few of my favourite moments from 2019. Much love and appreciation to you all.
