Best Cafes in Byron and surrounds
1. Folk
Folk is probably the most instagrammed cafe in Byron Bay. This largely because of their beautiful drink creations. But it really is such a gorgeous cafe I couldn’t resist including it. It’s decorated with thriving indoor plants and every time I visit I have to control myself from asking to take a cutting of EVERYTHING. They play a great selection of records and the food and above mentioned drinks menu is second to none.
2. The Woods
Run by the same crew as Folk, The Woods has a similar 70’s rustic vibe. The menu is full of plant-based and ethically sourced deliciousness. It’s nestled into a cute little nook in Bangalow village, it shares the grounds with a number of boutique businesses so there is plenty nearby to explore.
The Woods is dog friendly and there is usually some pretty cute fury friends running around. If you visit Bangalow on a Saturday you'll also catch the Bangalow markets, so you can grab a yummy breakfast then wonder around the corner and pick up some fresh local produce for dinner.
3. Doma
Oh Doma, how I love you. Doma is a charming little Japanese cafe located in the Federal hinterland. It makes a great pit stop on the way to or from the minion waterfall walk. They have a lovely garden seating area complete with roaming chickens, and on the weekends you can eat your amazing meal to the sound of one of Byron’s many talented musicians.
